What Safety Looks Like on a CMS Site

Compliance documents are just the starting point. What matters is what happens when the machines are running and the crew are on the ground. Here’s how safety works on our sites every day.

  • Site-Specific Risk Assessments – Every project gets a tailored risk assessment before work begins — identifying hazards, controls, and emergency procedures for that specific site.
  • Plant-People Separation – Strict exclusion zones around operating machinery. Spotters, barriers, and communication protocols to keep people clear of moving plant.
  • Dust & Noise Control – Water suppression on demolition and excavation sites, hearing protection, and noise management to protect workers and neighbours.
  • Asbestos Safe Work Procedures – Licensed asbestos removal with sealed containment, wet methods, full PPE, air monitoring, and clearance certification on every job.
